The swimsuit in recycled material

A Spanish fibre made from waste recovered from the oceans and a garment made in Portugal.

We wanted to offer you a stylish and comfortable swimsuit with the most neutral impact on nature.

This is why we have chosen to partner with the Spanish company SEAQUAL. The objective of this committed company: to clean up the oceans of plastic waste, which represents a major problem for our planet.

Since 2016, SEAQUAL has been marketing ecological fibres and yarns created from the recycling of plastic waste polluting the seabed.

Waste is collected in the Mediterranean by a cooperative of volunteer fishermen before being sorted on land.

For every kilogram of fibre produced, one kilogram of waste disappears from the sea. At MOMEN, we wanted to contribute on our small scale to this positive and constructive approach.

In addition to helping to clean the oceans, the fabric we have chosen combines technicality, robustness and fast drying. Because at MOMEN, we favour organic and recycled materials without ever compromising on quality.

We have therefore found the perfect balance here between eco-design and technical quality.

But we also wanted to add a touch of style, colour and the brand's emblematic print to make your jersey as beautiful as it is eco-friendly.

We chose to stay in Europe and found one of the best Portuguese factories, which only makes swimwear and works with famous brands. As we want to do it for all our products, we decided to put forward real and beautiful know-how.

This jersey multiplies the assets:

Its embossed embroidery brings a discreet touch of fantasy.

Its navy blue colour and white print make it an elegant product and its orange details add the little touch of originality necessary to be at the top on the seaside. 

Its perfect fit, neither too tight nor too wide, suits all morphologies. 

Detailed description

The factory.

We have chosen a small workshop of 50 people near Porto which has more than 20 years of experience and which manufactures only swimwear. All the necessary know-how to meet MOMEN's specifications.

We decided to favour the shortest possible circuit: the fibre is entirely made in Spain and woven in Portugal and the jersey is made in Portugal.

Maybe just "for a top speed", since the beaches are closed for the moment let's not exclude swimming pools and rivers ;-)
